"Karim Garcia? Who is Karim Garcia? I have no respect for that guy. Who are you, Karim Garcia, to try to test Pedro Martinez?"
--Pedro Martinez

In light of what transpired this weekend in a certain series between certain teams in a certain division in Major League Baseball, I would like to paraphrase those poetic words of Pedro Martinez as it relates to me:

The New York Mets? Who are the New York Mets? I have no respect for that team. Who are you, the New York Mets, to try to test the Atlanta Braves?

Thank you.

You'll have to excuse me, folks. I tend to get a little cocky after my team pounds its division rival into submission, especially after we slap that rival's "prize acquisition" around like a school girl, serving up a death blow to the team and making its players sob in defeat.

This is getting way too easy.
