In search of a replacement for my starting tight end, Eric Johnson, who's listed as doubtful to play this week, I E-mailed a friend, a Raider fan, to inquire his thoughts on Oakland's starting tight end, Courtney Anderson. I'd asked four or five other friends the same question the night before, but this E-mail stood out, because I decided not to pick Anderson up after reading it.

My E-mail:
hey b2K, what do you think of courtney anderson's prospects tonight?

His response:
"I wouldn't say that courtney anderson is worth a pick up.
We have too many WRs and he is a decent receiver option, but I think last year he had only 1 TD and like 170 rec yds. I think this year the TEs are going to be primarily relied on for blocking schemes."

Courtney Anderson's statistics yesterday:
3 receptions, 18 yards, 2 touchdowns
= 15.5 fantasy points
