Scoop Jackson flops another race card!

I don't mean to ruin your days by asking you to read poorly written Internet garbage, but . . . . . I'd like to get someone else's opinion on this Scoop column from ESPN.com, just to make sure that I'm not letting my inability take him seriously as a writer influence the way I'm reading it.

Excerpt:

I noticed how none of the other above-the-fold columnists came to Dusty's defense. Not Rick Morrissey, not Mike Downey or Carol Slezak or Greg Couch, not even my good friend Rick Telander. Not that they're supposed to, but ... they ain't we. They don't feel your struggle, Dusty.

My god-honest opinion -- this is one of the more disgusting columns I've read this year. The next time ESPN decides to post a column that deals with an issue as serious as racism, I hope they go with someone who can actually state his case eloquently -- and when it's appropriate -- instead of some douche like Scoop Jackson.

Anyways . . . . . your thoughts.
