Here's what a Dodger fan wrote on Baseball Primer's message board after Barry Bonds won his 7th MVP Award today, ahead of, in order, Adrian Beltre, Albert Pujols, Scott Rolen, and Jim Edmonds:

"As a Dodger fan, it's nice to see Beltre placing where he did -- first among the humans."

I'd really like to hear the cases of the eight writers who didn't vote for Bonds, especially the guy who gave Bonds a 3rd-place vote. It's just further proof that a lot of these voters put their own biases ahead of the on-field merits of players.

Honestly -- grow up.
