One thing I've noticed about New Yorkers is they love saying the same thing 4 or 5 different ways to make one point. Like this:
"Boy, that Derek Jeter is some kind of winner, isn't he? He just knows how to win. I mean he'll do whatever it takes to win. The kid's a winner."

To the folks back home, I heard the Dodgers/Giants played a classic game of their own last night. They don't talk about west coast teams here, though, so can somebody fill me in, please?

Also, does anyone remember that game where the Braves came back from a 7-0 deficit, scoring a run in the 7th and 7 runs in the 8th to win the game, 8-7? Yeah, that was Sunday. I heard the game was a real doozy, but they don't talk about non-New York teams here -- can somebody fill me in?
